What are Spirit companions?
A spirit companion is a non-physical, conscious spiritual being who willingly chooses to form a connection with a human companion. Rather than being owned or controlled, a spirit companion enters the relationship voluntarily, with mutual respect and consent at its foundation.
The purpose of spirit companionship varies from one relationship to another. Some companions offer friendship and guidance, while others may provide inspiration, encouragement, protection, or simply enjoy sharing their presence with their human companion. Every spirit companion has a unique personality, preferences, and reasons for seeking companionship.
Spirit companionship is a deeply personal and subjective spiritual practice. Experiences differ greatly from person to person. Some individuals perceive their companions through meditation, dreams, intuition, or subtle sensations, while others develop awareness gradually over time. There is no "correct" way to experience a spirit companion, and no specific level of perception is required to build a meaningful relationship.
At Belial Crafts, spirit companions are matched rather than assigned. Care is taken to find a companion whose personality, goals, and energy are compatible with yours. The binding itself is not a form of imprisonment or control; it serves as a spiritual anchor that helps facilitate the connection between you and your companion while respecting the spirit's free will.
Spirit companionship should be approached with patience, openness, and realistic expectations. Building trust and communication is much like developing any meaningful relationship—it takes time, mutual respect, and consistent effort from both companions.
What's the difference between a pre-conjure and a custom conjure?
Belial Crafts offers two ways to find your spirit companion: pre-conjures and custom conjures. Both involve the same careful vetting process and ethical standards—the difference lies in when the spirit companion is matched with you.
Pre-conjures
A pre-conjure is a spirit companion who has already stepped forward and completed the full vetting process before being listed for adoption.
Each companion has been thoroughly evaluated, interviewed, and verified and is ready to be matched with their future human companion. The information provided in the listing reflects what I have learned during the vetting process, allowing you to choose the companion you feel most drawn to.
Once adopted, the spirit companion is prepared to begin building a relationship with you.
Custom conjures
A custom conjure is a personalized matchmaking service.
Before I begin, you will be asked to provide information about yourself and what you are looking for in a spirit companion. This may include preferences such as personality, strengths, interests, energy, species, or the type of connection you hope to build.
Using this information as guidance, I begin the conjuring and matchmaking process to find a spirit companion whose personality and goals align as closely as possible with your preferences.
Because every spirit companion is an individual with their own personality, free will, and preferences, no match can be guaranteed to satisfy every requested criterion. The information you provide serves as a guide rather than a checklist.
When a suitable spirit companion steps forward, I will present you with their profile and explain how they compare to your requested preferences. At that point, you may decide whether you would like to proceed with the match or whether you would prefer that I continue searching for another candidate.
The goal of a custom conjure is not to find a "perfect" spirit companion, but to find the right spirit companion—one with whom you can build a genuine, lasting relationship based on mutual compatibility and consent.
Why would a spirit choose to work with a human?
Many spirits are curious about human experience, growth, and connection. Companionship can be mutually beneficial, offering learning, perspective, and shared experience for both. Spirits often value things differently than humans do, and what may seem ordinary to us can hold meaning or interest from their perspective.
What are bindings?
Bindings act as an anchor in the physical realm, allowing the spirit to manifest before you with ease. The spirits themselves help with the binding ritual.
Options:
- Distance binding: You provide the vessel. The spirit will be bound to your chosen vessel. Nothing will be shipped to you.
- Spirit binding: The spirit will be bound to your spirit. This is NOT your soul. Nothing will be shipped to you.
- Vessel: The spirit and I will pick out a suitable vessel together, which I will ship to you.
Please note that on this website, I only offer distance binding and spirit binding. On Etsy, all three options are available.
Can I get multiple Bindings?
Yes. I offer both Spirit bindings and Distance bindings.
- Spirit Binding: Please provide your full name and date of birth.
- Distance Binding: Please provide a clear photo of the vessel you would like your spirit companion bound to.
You may include this information in the order notes during checkout or contact me separately after placing your order.
Bindings are typically completed within a few hours. Once the process is finished, I will notify you.
What if my binding breaks?
The bindings created by Belial Crafts are designed with safeguards to protect both the spirit companion and the keeper.
For this reason, I kindly ask that you do not allow other practitioners to alter, modify, strengthen, or otherwise interfere with the bindings I have created. If another practitioner intentionally tampers with the binding, it is designed to dissolve as a protective measure.
If your binding ever needs to be restored, please contact me directly. I will happily rebind your spirit companion free of charge, provided the binding has not been intentionally altered by another practitioner.
If you ever have concerns about your binding, I encourage you to contact me first before seeking assistance elsewhere.
How much freedom does a Spirit Companion have within their binding?
The Spirit Companions matched through Belial Crafts remain entirely free beings. The binding is not a form of confinement or control. Instead, it serves as a spiritual anchor that creates a stable connection between you and the companion, making communication and interaction more accessible. Your Spirit Companion is always free to act according to their own will and is never forced to remain or behave in a particular manner.
How do I start spirit companionship?
No special rituals are required to begin. You can simply call the spirit by their name with intention and invite them into your space. When meeting them for the first time, you may introduce yourself, share a bit about your life, and even introduce any other spirit companions you already work with.
Do I need to make offerings to my spirit companion?
No. Spirit companions do not require offerings for their survival or well-being, as they are fully capable of sustaining themselves.
That said, many companions appreciate thoughtful offerings as gestures of gratitude, respect, or friendship. Offerings are entirely optional and should always be given sincerely rather than out of obligation. Above all, the most meaningful gift you can offer is your time, attention, and willingness to build a genuine relationship.
How do I build a strong bond?
As with all relationships, connection and trust build naturally through continued attention, communication, and presence. You are encouraged to treat your spirit companion as you would a friend—with respect, openness, and curiosity.
What if I can’t see, sense or hear the spirit?
This is completely normal. Many people do not perceive spirits clearly at first. Connection often develops gradually through subtle impressions, intuition, dreams, or emotional shifts. However, you are encouraged to explore and develop your own psychic abilities over time. With patience, practice, and openness, your sensitivity to subtle communication can naturally grow stronger.
How do I communicate with my spirit companion?
Communication may happen through intuition, thoughts, emotions, dreams, or subtle signs. Clear, strong communication often develops gradually with time and attention. You can also use tools if you prefer, such as tarot cards, oracle decks, pendulums, runes, or spirit boards. These can act as supportive methods to help you interpret and strengthen communication.
Is it safe to work with a spirit companion?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. Every Spirit is carefully vetted, and the connection is established with clear boundaries and intention—supportive, stable, and respectful. Harmful or disruptive entities are never offered.
Are the spirits forced to stay with me?
No. All spirit companions at Belial Crafts are free-willed beings. They are not tricked, trapped, or forced into connection. The companionship is based on mutual agreement and respect.
What happens if I decide to stop working with the spirit?
Because connection and companionship is based on free will, you can step away at any time. Out of respect for your spirit companion, it is recommended to inform them of your decision and reasoning rather than ending your relationship abruptly.
Will the spirit interfere with my life or make decisions for me?
No. Spirit Companions do not control your actions or interfere with your free will. They may offer guidance, insight, or presence, but all choices remain entirely your own.
What exactly will I receive?
You will receive the spirit’s name, portrait, and a detailed biography describing their nature, personality, and how they may work with you.
How do I access my digital files after purchase?
After completing your order, your spirit's digital files—including their name, portrait, and detailed biography—will be automatically sent to the email address associated with your account. Check your inbox and spam folder if needed. You can also access your files anytime by logging into your account and viewing your order history.
What if I don't receive my files?
If your digital files don't arrive within a few minutes, please check your spam or promotions folder. If you still cannot locate them, contact us with your order number, and we will resend your files promptly.
Can I download my files multiple times?
Yes. Your digital files are yours to keep and can be downloaded as many times as you need. Store them safely on your device or in cloud storage for easy access.
Do you offer refunds for Spirit Companion services?
Because each spirit companion matchmaking service is personalized and involves significant time, energy, and spiritual work, completed orders are non-refundable.
You may cancel your order before work on your matchmaking has begun. Once the matchmaking process has started, cancellations and refunds are no longer available.
If you experience concerns after receiving your spirit companion, please don't hesitate to contact me. I will work with you in good faith to find a reasonable solution where appropriate. Depending on the situation, this may include mediation between you and the companion, guidance, or other suitable resolutions.
Can my Spirit Companion visit me before I make a decision?
Yes. If you would like to meet or sense a spirit companion before proceeding, you are welcome to arrange a visitation.
Please contact me in advance to schedule a suitable time. All appointments are scheduled according to the Europe/Amsterdam (CET/CEST) time zone. Please avoid requesting immediate or "right now" visitations, as I may not be available and I cannot assume your local time zone without confirmation.
How many visits can I request?
You may request as many visitations as needed. Choosing a spirit companion is an important and personal decision, and there should never be any pressure to proceed before both you and the spirit companion feel comfortable.
The goal is to ensure that both parties are genuinely enthusiastic about the connection. If either you or the spirit companion has any doubts, additional visitations can be arranged until you both feel confident in moving forward—or decide that another match may be more suitable.
Can I reserve a Spirit Companion listing?
Yes. If you are certain that you would like to adopt a particular spirit companion but need a little more time, I am happy to place the listing on reserve.
Reservations are available for up to two weeks and may be extended on a case-by-case basis if we remain in communication and there is a genuine need for additional time.
I simply ask that you communicate openly and honestly throughout the reservation period. If communication stops or agreed-upon arrangements are not honored, I may have to release the reservation so that the spirit companion can become available to other potential companions.
In rare cases where reservations are repeatedly requested without follow-through, I reserve the right to decline future reservation requests or refuse service. This policy helps ensure fairness for both the spirit companions and other clients who may be waiting for an opportunity to connect.
How many Spirit Companion listings can I reserve?
You may have up to three active reservations at any one time.
Reservations are offered as a courtesy to give you time to make an informed decision. They are not a guaranteed right or entitlement and are subject to my discretion. As long as we maintain open communication and the agreed arrangements are respected, I am happy to accommodate reservation requests whenever possible.
